Kathleen Grotzinger is a Los Angeles-based writer who specializes in writing for children. She loves to write about the intricate inner lives of kids, characters with strong interests, and found families. Her goal is to create stories that make kids feel seen. Her passions include disco, rollerskating (badly), and LGBTQ history. She just read through the Complete Works of Shakespeare and currently, but slowly, trying to learn how to do a backflip.
Kathleen formerly worked at Nickelodeon as a Production Coordinator on Fairly Oddparents: A New Wish. She also has a preschool storytelling series, Musetta the Rabbit Witch, on YouTube which currently has four episodes.
