Kathleen Grotzinger is a Los Angeles-based writer who specializes in writing for children. She loves to write about the intricate inner lives of kids, characters with strong interests, and found families. Her goal is to create stories that make kids feel seen. Her passions include 1970s media, cooking, and reading LGBTQ history. She is also a big Shakespeare fan and has two bunnies named after Shakespeare characters, Orsino (Twelfth Night) and Ophelia (Hamlet).

Kathleen is currently hard at work on a YA novel set in her hometown Portland, OR. She also has a preschool storytelling series, Musetta the Rabbit Witch, on YouTube which currently has four episodes.
